Susan Flood Health - Dublin -

Hi, I’m Susan!

I’m a qualified Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach, Fitness Instructor, certified in Stress Management and the Menstrual Cycle.

Living in Dublin as a busy working Mum of 2 very energetic boys (3 including my husband!), I understand how hectic life can be.

Having worked in the bank for 20 years, I left to fulfil what truly lit me up – supporting, educating and helping women make changes to their overall Health and Wellness in order to achieve their health goals.

I became a Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach as I understand how busy and hectic life can be. We try to fit it all in, with “To Do” lists that never seem to end. We often prioritise everyone & everything else BUT OURSELVES! Sound familiar?

But this can start to take its toll on our health, in particular, our energy levels, our sleep, our weight, which directly impacts the choices & the relationship we have with food. This was me for years so if this resonates with you too, read on.

Through diet and lifestyle changes, I have successfully changed my life around – one that is filled with more energy, better food choices, less stress and better sleep (most of the time!).

If any of my story resonates with you, I can assure you that by investing in yourself and making simple changes to what you eat and investing time for YOU, the results are dramatic.

Qualifications:

Qualified Fitness Instructor - NCEF

Diploma in Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching - IHS

Certified Stress Managmenet Coach - IHS

Certificate in the Menstrual Cycle (Perimenopause & Menopause) - IHS

  • I have experienced a 100% change. I am eating better than ever before. Susan has helped me change lifelong habits.

Work with me - Susan Flood Health

Work with me

As a Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach I work with busy working Mums to help them make sustainable changes to their health and wellness so they feel like they are THRIVING.

Are you feeling low in energy, weight on the increase, difficulty sleeping, stressed a lot of the time and feel there’s just not enough hours in the day to PRIORITISE YOU?

As a coach I identify what goals you want to achieve and then start putting together a plan completely unique to YOU. I support, educate and listen from a non-judgmental space to start putting in place a sustainable achievable plan, one that is aligned with your values, your family life, your set of circumstances and with your goals.  And the biggest part of my plan – ACCOUNTABILITY! I’m with you every step of the way.

Does this sound familiar? You have engaged in weight loss programmes that never work? The weight comes off initially, but long term it creeps back on. These diets are restrictive, all about what you “can’t have” and make you obsess about what you’re eating, and when you eventually “break these diets” you feel a sense of guilt, shame and failure.

When clients come to me they have had enough of yo-yo diets that make them feel dreadful about themselves. They want to start putting into practice REAL, SUSTAINABLE and DOABLE new habits that they CAN achieve and which will give them long lasting results.

  • Susan’s approach is professional and good humoured, but most importantly is very specific to you and your needs.

Nutrition & Lifestyle – “I just don’t have the TIME.” The number one barrier I see with my clients when it comes to trying to create new habits and make changes to their health and wellness. My approach revolves around empowering you to prioritize your wellbeing amidst demanding schedules. Recognising the juggling act you perform daily, I tailor nutrition plans that integrate into your routine, your family life and your unique set of circumstances emphasising nutrient rich, time efficient meals.

I listen, support, educate and guide you to viewing nutrition and self-care not as a luxury but a necessity.

How? By encouraging mindful eating practices, I help you understand the impact nutrition has on your energy levels, mood, sleep, stress and overall vitality. I offer practical strategies for meal prepping and easy to follow recipes simplified and help make the “Overcomplicated” become “Less Complicated.”

Through my personalised 1:1 coaching sessions I foster a supportive space where I share your challenges and triumphs, I hold you accountable and instil the belief of “You can do” rather than focusing on what “You can’t do.”.

Menopause - Susan Flood Health

Menopause

As a woman in her late 40’s I am smack bang in the middle of changes that are happening to my body, my mind and my mental health. From “Where the F*ck are my keys!” to “Sorry what was I saying” to night sweats, to incredible “mood swings”, weight gain, and the rest. It’s a tick tick tick all those boxes for me! I recognise the unique challenges of this life stage and therefore have tailored nutritional plans that incorporate foods rich in nutrients essential for hormonal balance and bone health.

How? Through personalised coaching sessions I provide insights into foods that can help alleviate specific symptoms such as incorporating protein rich, nutrient dense colourful foods which can have a positive impact on hormonal balance. And best part I show you how to do this in a time efficient easy to understand way. No jargon or chemical equations here, just practical advice that you will be able to apply to your everyday life to support you navigate this transition with resilience.
