Don’t just survive, let’s thrive!

Life is busy, I hear you. We’re constantly on the go, half the time running around like headless chickens with yellow post it’s hanging out of our bags!

STOP!

The whole “Getting back on track”, “reaching your Health Goals”, can all seem like a daunting task.

However, with a few strategic new habits, some easily integrated tips and tricks (I like to call them Susan’s Secret Sauce!) I’ll have you back on track:

Top 3 Tips to get you back on track:

  1. Don’t skip breakfast

Why? B-R-E-A-K-F-A-S-T – what does it mean?... a “Break from Fasting”. So let that first meal of the day count. Research has shown that when we skip breakfast we tend to make less than optimum food choices for the rest of the day.

  2. Move and move often

Why? Pssssst I’ll let you into a secret… you will NEVER regret engaging in physical activity, FACT (well my fact!). It not only wakes you up and prepares your brain and body for the day it also improves energy, supports weight loss and promotes better sleep. Seriously what’s not to like about that?!

  3. Drink water

Why? What I would consider the 4th food group. Did you know as humans we can only survive max 3 days without water? Think of water as our “taxi service”. Water transports your nutrients (via yellow cab) to all the parts of the body that need it. And the magic of water continues... it regulates our body temperature, great for our skin, gives us energy, digests our food and on and on and on we go. Top tip, get a water bottle and carry it everywhere… I call my water bottle “My third child”.

You might be in your 30’s, 40’s 50’s+ reading this and you’ve been there, done that and bought the t-shirt when it comes to quick fixes (which let’s face it don’t work!).

So let’s give a big Red Card to fad diets, depressing cardboard food, and unrealistic goals and start to integrate these top 3 simple very doable tips and watch the positive trickle effect that starts to happen to our overall Health and Wellness.

Small steps lead to bigger transformations!

Much love,

Susan
